Air Escort provided a flight paramedic to escort Taiwanese Ambassador Lui from Los Angeles to Taipei recently. Mr. Lui required assistance during the flight and relied on Air Escorts staff to get the job done. "I am very grate for the excellent care that was provided to me during my journey home" said Mr. Lui on landing in Taipei. |

 | Air Escort Repatriates Australian Gunshot wound victim Jason Montgomery was minding his own business in a bar in Georgetown, Guyana when criminals walked in and shot him and 2 others in order to rob the bar. Jason spent several weeks in the hospital with 2 surgeries gone bad. His family realized that he was getting worse, and if nothing was done to get him out, his could succumb to his infections. Jason's mother contacted Air Escort to get him home. We advised her that we could get him out under our care, however with his condition, it would be touch and go on each stop to get him home to Australia. Sensing the situation to be very complicated, Air Escort CEO Joe Gonzales, a flight paramedic, hopped a flight to get Jason out. The patient condition that was somewhat unstable, however, after consulting with our medical director, it was decided to get him out before he worsened. Air Escort flew Jason to London when our UK staff met us and transported Jason to a hospital. Jason, was cared for by the wonderful medical staff at Surrey Hospital, as he spent 3 weeks in care, then was well enough to continue the journey home. Jason as had one more surgery in which 1 liter of fluid was removed from his chest cavity. Jason remains a friend of Air Escort, and we are proud to have gotten him home safe. |
